Identity theft can ruin a vacation. Servus takes identity theft seriously and we do what we can to protect our members.
Unusual transactions, especially from out-of-province, may trigger an alert on your card. If we're unable to reach you, your card will be blocked for your protection.
To ensure your card will work when you need it, notify your branch and credit card company of date and place of travel.
Other steps you can take to protect yourself:
- Protect your PIN – Chip cards/Member Card® – cover the pin pad, don’t share or write down your PIN.
- Leave copies of your travel documents and financial information with a trusted friend or relative.
- Check your statement online regularly.
