(Edmonton, Alberta) – The Alberta Venture 250 list has been released for 2016 and Servus Credit Union is listed as Alberta's 65th largest company this year. The list ranks Alberta’s largest public and private companies and crown corporations, and Servus has been on the list each year since Alberta Venture started publishing it in 2001. Servus is proud to be recognized as one of Alberta’s largest and most dynamic companies alongside some of the province's most respected business leaders.
“As a member-owned credit union we see this as a tremendous accomplishment, and one that is only possible because of the strong support we receive from Albertans right across the province,” says Garth Warner, President & Chief Executive Officer of Servus Credit Union. “We're very grateful for that support. Albertans started this credit union themselves, and we are very pleased to work with them as they continue to build it themselves, all these many years later."
Warner also expressed his gratitude to Servus employees, "who have worked tirelessly for our members during a very challenging time in the economy.”
The Alberta Venture 250 list ranks the highest grossing companies in the province each year. The credit union was listed as having revenue of $581.9 million, net income of $77.6 million, assets of $14.3 billion and nearly 1,829 employees across Alberta in 2015.
