(Edmonton, AB)—Servus is proud to announce a $250,000 donation to the Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation in Edmonton. This nonprofit organization, whose mission is to provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton nonprofits to dream, grow and work together, strives to create a legacy of volunteerism in Edmonton. The Jerry Forbes Centre provides affordable office and warehouse space to 15 tenants (five of whom are Servus members).

"This donation is a way for us to give back to the nonprofit organizations at Jerry Forbes Centre who do so much for our communities," says David Kovacs, Senior Vice President of Business Banking. "This partnership is a natural choice, as Servus has deep roots in our communities. We are proud to support the Jerry Forbes Centre to build a better world by nurturing volunteerism."

The donation will be used to fund a large multipurpose room that tenants can use for various purposes—for example, it will be the gift preparation space for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, and will be used as a volunteer recognition space.

The Jerry Forbes Centre is currently the home to many recognizable non-profits in the Edmonton area, including 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, The Christmas Bureau of Edmonton, Arts on the Ave, Starfish Family Resources Society, The Rainbow Society of Alberta and more.
