Governance

Strong governance is characterized by effectiveness, transparency, accountability, openness, ethics and rule of law. The Servus Credit Union Board of Directors sets the strategic direction and puts in place the controls necessary for our credit union to be a success.

Servus Credit Union's Board of Directors currently consists of twelve members from around the province, elected by the membership through in-branch voting.

Board responsibilities

The Servus Credit Union Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the credit union has strong, effective management, and that the credit union's strategic objectives are aligned with your best interests.

Board elections

Servus Credit Union Board members are elected for three-year terms. Every year Servus Credit Union holds Board elections to fill vacancies for expired terms.

Annual general meeting

As a member-owner of Servus Credit Union, you have a say in how we run things. We encourage your participation in the Annual General Meeting.
